Our fully equipped on-site tool room serves as the heart of Scan Tool & Mold, empowering us to design and produce both intricate prototype and robust production molds tailored to our customer's specifications. We also pride ourselves on delivering rapid and effective support for any challenges that may arise on our molding production floor, ensuring smooth operations and on time deliveries. Every mold maker on our team is extensively trained in the cutting-edge software of Mastercam and SolidWorks, enabling precision craftsmanship on every project. Our tool room boasts state-of-the-art EDM equipment from Charmilles and Makino, all enhanced with tool changers to streamline processes. Complementing our EDM capabilities are three 3-axis CNC machining centers, including the high-speed Charmilles Mold Master, which excels at milling both graphite and copper electrodes as well as machining hardened steel mold cavities. Moreover, our facility has a wide range of specialized tooling equipment. Here, you’ll find a powerful laser welder, an additional EDM machine ready for precise operations, surface and wet grinders, and efficient 2-axis CNC mills, each contributing to our commitment to quality and innovation.
